Down and Across, 5 steps and Down and Across agian! 3 cast into it .....WHAM.....I could tell that this was no orinary fish! My 4 x leader strained as I recovered from the last massive run, and started to get the brute to where I could see it. I KNOW WILLIAMSON RIVER REDBANDS can be mean, but there was something different about this fish. Once I got the better of the finned rocket, I was flabbergasted at the sight of my damsel fly lodged agianst teeth that were not from a redband. Upon landing the monster I realized there was no way this fish was a red band. I sent a picture to the authorities and to my surprise they said it was a shark. They were quick to explain that it must of followed that samon up ths klamath after the dam removal! This is great news as it adds another species to On The Fly Guide's offering. As soon as we figure this new fishery out we will be offering guided Williamson river shark trips along with our other trips. We are excited, and we hope you are to.
