November Is The Month

I live for wet November's. It's this time of year when the marsh starts filling which provides new food sources for the start of the migration. This year's storms are a blessing. We are filling marshes and mud flats that have been dry since last year. The birds will concentrate on these areas as it allows them to feed on new ground.

November is also the time of year when we start seeing northern birds, which is a great addition to the thousands of local birds that seem to be staying in the basin year around.

We still have several days open in November, or maybe you would like to get buy the waterfowlers in your life a hunt for Christmas, we have gift certificates. Either way the Klamath Basin is already full of birds and with this weather it's only going to get better.
