The Klamath and Agency Lakes are really one lake that was separated by a series of dikes and reclaimed lands. Just the Klamath section of the lake is considered one of the largest lakes in Oregon, being thirty miles long and eight miles across, add the Agency section to the mix and you have a monster fish producer. With average depth at a mere fourteen foot this system is a major aquatic insect machine. The Klamath/Agency system is the lifeblood of all the basin stream systems acting as a trophy trout rookery that is beyond compare.
